| I am a professionally trained, freelance makeup artist and hair stylist. I love all aspects of makeup & hair, but prefer to specialise in fashion, editorial and beauty. I am also trained in special effects makeup and prosthetics. At the moment, I split my time between working in both the London and Manchester area, but I am willing to travel nationwide for the right job. Professional training: I initially took a short makeup course in London College of Fashion, and then I received full training at the School of Makeup in Stockport, Manchester, where I gained a wide range of skills, including: - Fashion/ editorial Makeup & Hair - Making and styling of creative hair pieces - Media Makeup & Hair for TV/Film, including casualty effects and period styles - Theatrical makeup - Application and styling of wigs and hair pieces - Basic hair cutting and grooming - Wedding & special occasions makeup & hair - SFX makeup and prosthetics - Fashion styling I am obsessed with makeup and beauty, and enjoy beautify other people! Background I was born in Hong Kong but have lived in London since the age of 10. Since a young age I have always enjoyed art & design which lead me to further study Art in A-levels, followed by a degree in Architecture at University of Manchester. However, I have realised my real passion lies in the makeup industry. With the support from family and friends I have decided to pursue a career as a professional makeup artist. |
